Derek is passionate about social media and prides himself on knowing the latest in web and technology trends. While he specializes in complex interaction design, he is equally versed in front end development. He has a strong work ethic and is results driven, but also takes pride in the process.

He recently completed his education in Interactive Media and Web Design. Having specialized in the “emerging web”, Derek has a fresh perspective on emerging technologies and how they influence culture.

In his spare time, Derek enjoys playing folk music. He hosts a monthly event at The Arts Club on Granville Island called “The Acoustic Studio” for local songwriters to showcase their talent.
